About the event
This Miami beekeeping workshop is a great introduction to honey bees and the practice of beekeeping. We will explore a beehive, witness the life cycle of bees, find and mark a queen bee, and harvest honey. Each participant will take home a small jar of honey that they harvest and a pure beeswax candle that they make! Beekeeping gear + light snacks included.
Once registered, participants will receive detailed information on what to wear and bring to be comfortable and prepared for the day. $75 per participant, 10 years and older (please email beelightfulbees@gmail.com if you're interested in a beekeeping experience for younger kids)
